SINERTIPIKAHANG urgent ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang House Bill No. 10800 o 2025 General Appropriation Act (GAA) to the Senate of the Philippines.

Sa sulat ni Pangulong Marcos kay Senate President Francis Escudero, iginiit nitong mahalagang maipasa ang panukalang batas sa lalong madaling panahon.

Nasa P6.352 trilyon ang panukalang national budget para sa taong 2025.

“To ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical government functions, guarantee the allocation of fiscal resources for vital initiatives, and enable the government to adeptly respond to emerging challenges,” pahagi ng sulat.

Pinadalhan din ng kaparehong sulat si House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

Nabatid na ang 2025 national budget ay mas mataas ng 9.5 porsyento kumpara sa kasalukuyang budget na nasa P5.258 trilyon.
