“Today (Wednesday) Tingog Partylist, along with the Province of Leyte and City of Tacloban, welcomes President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as he joins us in commemorating the 10th anniversary of Typhoon Yolanda, as he did 10 years ago after the storm,” ani Rep. Yedda K. Romualdez, chairperson ng House committee on accounts.

“We are honored to have the President stand with us on this solemn occasion as we pay tribute to those we lost, celebrate the strength and solidarity displayed in the aftermath, and reaffirm our commitment to building a more disaster-resilient nation,” dagdag pa nito.

“The road to recovery was long and challenging, but the Filipino spirit remained stronger than the storm. Together, we continue to rebuild, stronger than ever,” ani Rep. Romualdez.

Yedda Romualdez, at Rep.

“The relevance of this commemoration to our time, ten years after Yolanda, cannot be overstated. We find ourselves once again facing an array of challenges, from natural disasters to public health crises and economic uncertainties. The lessons of Yolanda remain as relevant as ever, serving as a guide as we navigate the trials of our present and future,” ayon kay Acidre.

“Haiyan tested our nation, but it did not break our spirit. It revealed the true essence of our people, and it is a spirit that we carry with us into the future. Let the lessons of Yolanda be etched in our hearts and minds as we face the challenges of our time, and may we emerge from them stronger and more united than ever before,” dagdag ni Acidre.
