HINDI umano papayagan ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) na guluhin ng komunistang grupo ang inagurasyon ni President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Ayon kay DILG Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya gumagawa na ito ng mga hakbang upang masawata ang rebelasyon ng mga dating kadre ng Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF) na guluhin ang panunumpa sa tungkulin ni Marcos sa Hunyo 30.

“We are taking these intelligence reports seriously and we will do what is necessary to thwart any attempt to embarrass or discredit the forthcoming inauguration,” sabi ni Malaya.

Ang mga grupo umano ng mga magsasaka sa Tarlac, Cavite, Pampanga, at Laguna ang planong gamitin ng komunistang grupo.

Sinabi ni Malaya na hindi na nakakagulat ang gagawin ng CPP-NPA-NDF dahil lahat ng umupo sa Malacañang ay itinuturing nitong kalaban.

“That’s part of their playbook. Whoever sits in Malacanang is their enemy because ultimately, all they want is to overthrow the government through violent means to be followed by a socialist revolution,” dagdag pa ni Malaya.

Aabot umano sa 6,200 pulis ang ipakakalat sa paligid ng National Museum.

Nauna rito, sinabi ni incoming Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile na nakatanggap ito ng impormasyon kaugnay ng plano na pahiyain ang papasok na administrasyon.

“I just picked up what I consider to be a credible information that there are groups in America and in the Philippines planning and preparing to cause serious embarrassment and trouble for our newly-elected President,” sabi ni Enrile.

“Caution is the name of the game. You are just starting your travel in troubled waters. Your adversaries have not stopped. To borrow a phrase from someone, right now ‘they are hiding their brightness and biding their time,’” dagdag pa ni Enrile.
