PINIRMAHAN ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang Administrative Order No. 1 na lumilikha sa posisyong Presidential Chief of Staff, ayon sa Office of the Press Secretary (OPS).

At si Vic Rodriguez ang siyang uukupa ng naturang posisyon, na direktang nasa ilalim ng Pangulo.

“The OPCOS shall have the primary function of supervising and ensuring the efficient and responsive day-to-day operational support to the Presidency to enable the President to focus on strategic national concerns,” sabi sa AO No. 1.

Ang Presidential chief of staff (PCS) ay kapareho ng ranggo ng Cabinet secretary.

Ang PCS ay mayroong isang senior deputy chief of staff na may ranggo ng Secretary at dalawang deputy chief of staff na ang ranggo ay undersecretary, mga assistant secretary at mga directorial at administrative staff na kakailanganin nito at aaprubahan ng Pangulo.

Ang mga staff na agad na pupuno sa mga posisyong kailangan ay kukunin sa inabolis na Office of the Cabinet Secretarya at Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission.

Agad na uukopahin ni Rodriguez ang PCS at mababakante ang Office of the Executive Secretary.
