Pinuri ni Vice President Sara Duterte ang pulisya sa pagpapanatili nito ng kaayusan at kapayapaan.

Sa kanyang mensahe sa 48th Founding Anniversary ng Philippine National Police (PNP) Southern Police District (SPD) at ika-121st anniversary ng Police Service pinuri ni Duterte ang natatanging pagseserbisyo ng kapulisan.

“I stand today to reaffirm the Filipino people’s admiration and gratitude to all of you for your lifelong commitment to protecting our communities as reflected by your tireless service in maintaining the peace and order of our communities and conducting safety and welfare checks and operations,” sabi ni Duterte.

Pinuri rin ni Duterte si dating Davao City Police Office (DCPO) Director Col. Kirby John Kraft na ngayon ay acting District Director ng SPD at inalala ang serbisyo nito sa Davao City na nag-alis umano sa imahe ng police brutality.

Noong 2020, ang DCPO ay ginawaran ng parangal bilang National Best City Police Office.

“It is incumbent upon us, public servants and protectors of our nation to continue holding the line, not only to uphold our chosen profession’s mandate, but for one another, our communities, our nation, and the future we hope for all Filipinos,” ayon pa kay Duterte.

Kumpiyansa rin si Duterte na hindi magsasawa ang police force sa pagbibigay ng proteksyon sa publiko laban sa mga masasamang loob.

“Your commitment to humanity, integrity, professionalism and courage serves as a strong guiding light not only to the new vanguards, but to all Filipinos and the next generations of police aspirants,” dagdag pa ni Duterte.

Dumalo rin sa pagtitipon sina Makati 2nd District Representative Luis Jose Campos Jr., Makati 1st District Rep. Romulo Peña Jr., Pasay Rep. Antonio Calixto, Retired Police General Debold Sinas, mga hepe ng pulisya, mga miyembro ng District Advisory Council, at Police Attaché/Consul General mula sa Germany, European Delegation, United States, Japan, Thailand, Korea, Israel, Cambodia at Australia.
