CAMP PRES. Elpidio Quirino–Nakadiskubre ulit ang Ilocos Sur Police Provincial Office (ISPPO), sa pamumuno ni Col. Agosto Asuncion, police director, ng mahigit P2.1 milyon na halaga ng marijuana sa Sugpon noong Sept. 10.

Ayon kay Col. Asuncion, nakuha sa Brgy. Licungan, Sugpon ang marijuana.

“Leading the actual ground operation and discovery of the marijuana plantations was the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 1.

Operating teams discovered 4 marijuana plantation sites covering a combined area of 1,720 square meters with approximately 10,960 fully grown marijuana plants with an estimated value of P2,192,000,” ani Col. Asuncion.

“The ISPPO, together with its operating and partner units, will continue to sustain focused operations, intelligence-driven actions and inter-agency cooperation in pursuit of a safer and more secure Ilocos Sur,” dagdag ng hepe ng pulis.
