IPINAUUBAYA na ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang sa Presidential Security Command (PSC) ang banta ni Vice President Sara Duterte na ipapapatay niya sina Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. at First Lady Liza Marcos sakaling mapatay siya.

Ayon kay Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Cesar Chavez, ipinasa ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin sa PSC ang naturang usapin para maaksyunan ng maayos.

“Acting on the Vice President’s clear and unequivocal statement that she had contracted an assassin to kill the President if an alleged plot against her succeeds, the Executive Secretary has referred this active threat to the Presidential Security Command for immediate proper action,” pahayag ni Chavez.

“Any threat to the life of the President must always be taken seriously, more so that this threat has been publicly revealed in clear and certain terms,” dagdag ni Chavez.

Una nang sinabi ni Duterte na may ginawa na siyang arrangement para ipapatay ang mag-asawang Marcos pati na si House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez kung mapapatay siya.

“Huwag kang mag-alala sa security ko kasi may kinausap na ako na tao. Sinabi ko sa kanya, ‘pag pinatay ako, patayin mo si BBM, si Liza Araneta at si Martin Romualdez. No joke. No joke,” sagot ni Duterte sa tanong ng vlogger sa Zoom briefing.
