UMABOT sa P10 bilyong halaga ng tulong mula sa gobyerno ang naipamahagi sa 2.5 milyong pamilya sa ilalim ng pambansang inisyatibo na Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair.

Ito ang inihayag ni House Deputy Secretary General Sofonias Gabonada noong Lunes, kasabay nang inilunsad na Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair Agency Summit sa pagdiriwang ng unang taon ng programa.

“In terms of the number of beneficiaries, around 2.5 million families have been able to benefit from this program. Around P10 billion worth of programs, projects and services, including cash assistance were distributed,” ayon kay Gabonada.

“That’s how inclusive Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair has been. We started with a small target of one million [families] benefiting from this. But within a year, we reached 2.5 million,” dagdag pa niya.

Ayon kay Gabonada, sa loob ng isang buong taon, nasakop ng Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair ang 21 lalawigan sa 17 rehiyon, ngunit marami pang lugar ang kailangang marating.

“We’re expecting [to hold it in] 82 provinces,” saad pa Gabonada.

Sinabi ni Gabonada na ang programa ay nakabatay sa sa pag-aaral at mungkahi mula sa mga eksperto sa larangan ng pampublikong administrasyon, tulad ng National Economic and Development Authority, mga ekonomista, at mga regional director.

Kabilang sa mga susunod pang pupuntahan ng sebisyo fair program ang Batangas, Cavite, at Pangasinan.

“We want to make this a weekly event,” ayon pa kay Gabonada.

Binigyan diin naman ni Speaker Martin Romualdez na ang programa ay katunayan ng dedikasyon ng administrasyong Marcos na mapabuti ang kalidad ng buhay ng mga tao.

“This embodies our collective dedication to bringing government services directly to the people, ensuring that no one is left behind, no matter how remote or underserved their community may be,” ayon pa sa pahayag ni Romualdez.

“This is about the child who receives life-saving medical attention, the elderly who finally feel the support of a caring government, the farmer who gains access to vital resources, and the student who sees education as a door to a brighter future. These stories of transformation are the true measure of our success,” dagdag pa ng pinuno ng Kamara.
