NANUMPA na si Dr. Lisa Grace S. Bersales, Ph.D bilang Executive Director ng Commission on Population and Development (POPCOM).

Pinangasiwaan ni Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Arsenio M. Balisacan ang panunumpa ni Bersales sa National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) head office.

Si Bersales ay isang researcher at professor sa University of the Philippines, kung saan siya naging dean at direktor ng Graduate Studies for the School of Statistics.

Siya ay dating national statistician at nanguna sa implementasyon ng Philippine Statistics Act of 2013, ang batas na nagtatag ng Philippine Statistics Authority noong 2014.

Pinangunahan ni Bersales ang pagsasakatuparan ng Public-Private Partnership para sa Civil Registration System Information Technology Project-Phase 2.

Siya ay naging co-chair ng United Nations-Statistical Commission-Inter-Agency and Expert Group on the Sustainable Development Goals’ indicators mula 2015 hanggang 2017.
