Proud na ipinakita ni Andi Eigenmann sa latest Instagram post ang kanyang bagong tattoo sa braso na ang disenyo ay dahon ng palmera.

Sa caption ay ipinaliwanag niyang ang pagpapa-tattoo niya ng nasabing disenyo ay bilang pagpupugay sa namayapa niyang ina na si Jaclyn Jose.

“Finally got my palm leaf in honor of my nanay, just days before her 1st death anniversary. Indicative of multiple meanings all relating to the facets of her being that I would also like to embody,” simula ni Andi.

Inisa-isa niya ang mga hinahangaan niyang katangian ng kanyang in a na nais din niyang sundan.

“Strength. Amidst life’s many challenges she always remained strong. The most admirable thing about her.

“Victory. Growing up was special, witnessing someone first hand, constantly refining her craft, always striving for excellence in doing what she loved most. Her dedication to evolving in her art was a testament to her passion,” aniya.

“What a privilege to have this woman as my mother. She won many accollades for this, and the first asian Palm d’Or winner for Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival so far, is just one of them.

I’ll always cherish this moment, and the fact that she chose to share this with me,” pagbibigay-pugay pa niya sa kanyang nanay.

“Eternal life. as she will always and forever live in me.

“In almost one year of mourning her loss, of going through this grief, I would always get lost in my head figuring out the best way to honor my mother. Recently Ive come to realise that there is no better way than to take a good look at this life that she gave me, the best gift she could give, and to continue to treasure and cherish it by living it the best way I know how. Ibinahagi rin ni Andi na hindi naging madali ang pinagdadaanan niyang pagluluksa sa ina subalit babaunin niya at sisikaping ipagpatuloy ang magandang katauhan nito.

“As grief changes me, I would like to carry these facets who she was, alongside those of mine that I know she always loved. This journey of grief has been long and tough, and quite frankly, sometimes dark. But I believe that the love you showered me with should be enough to trust that I will again see the light,” pahayag ng aktres.
