NAGLABAS ng order ang Bureau of Customs (BOC) upang maging malinaw ang mga sinisingil nito sa iba’t ibang kumukuha ng serbisyo ng ahensya.

Layunin ng inilabas na Customs Administrative Order (CAO) No. 02-2024 na matukoy ang iba’t ibang service fee, dues, at iba pang sinisingil ng BOC sa mga nakikipagtransaksyon sa ahensya gaya ng mga shipping lines, airlines, air express operators, importer, exporter, customs brokers, freight forwarders, consolidators, deconsolidators, logistics providers, transhippers, operator ng customs bonded warehouses, free zone locators, o rehistradong kompanya, third party solutions providers, at iba pa.

Ayon sa CAO ang service fee na makokolekta ay mapupunta sa isang Trust Fund na siyang gagamitin para sa pagbabayad ng allowance at overtime service para sa mga tauhan ng BOC.

Nagbabayad ng service fee ang serbisyo gaya ng vessel supervision, aircraft supervision, free zone locator supervision, annual supervision par sa Authorized Economic Operators, underguarding ng paglilipat, off-hours services, special flight supervision, at mga katulad nito.

Ang Customs Dues at Charges ay mapupunta naman sa General Fund. Kasama sa sinisingil nito ang processing fees para sa mga idineklarang produkto, balikbayan boxes, import at export transactions, apela, legal opinion, accreditation charges, permit fees, registration charges, at service charges para sa mga dokumento.

“The implementation of this Customs Administrative Order is a crucial step in furtherance of standardizing our fee structures and establishing clear guidelines on the collection of Customs Fees, Dues, and Charges,” sabi ni Commissioner Rubio.

“We are doing this to establish uniformity, ensure transparency in our operations, and provide a mechanism for the payment of overtime work and other services delivered by the BOC,” dagdag pa nito.

Ang CAO ay magiging epektibo sa Hunyo 10, 2024 matapos ang 30 araw mula ng mailathala ito.
