MAHIGIT na 1 milyon ang mga international tourists na pumasok sa bansa sa unang tatlong buwan ng 2023.

Ayon kay Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Christina Frasco nasa 1,152,590 na ang mga international travelers na bumisita sa bansa hanggang noong Marso 15.

“The country is well on its way to tourism recovery. These figures build our confidence that we will, again, exceed our targets this year that we set at 4.8 million international arrivals and we fully foresee the full recovery of domestic recovery this year,” sabi ni Frasco.

Sinabi ni Frasco na patuloy na gagawa ng hakbang ang DOT upang mas mahikayat ang mga turista na bumisita sa bansa.
