CHR may bagong chairman
ITINALAGA si Atty. Richard Palpal-latoc bilang chairman ng Commission on Human Rights (CHR).
Si Palpal-latoc ay dating Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs ng Office of the President.
Siya ay dati ring nagtrabaho sa Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office IV-A, at sa Office of the Ombudsman kung saan ito nagsilbi bilang Graft Investigation at Prosecution Officer.
Noong 2020, siya ay naitalaga bilang Assistant City Prosecutor ng Office of the City Prosecutor sa Quezon City.
Bukod kay Palpal-latoc, inappoint naman bilang commissioner ng CHR si Atty. Beda Angeles Epres.
Si Epres ay alumnus ng Far Eastern University (Political Science, 1990) at Arellano University School of Law (LL.B., 1995).
Dati itong nagtrabaho sa Office of the Ombudsman bilang Graft Investigation and Prosecution Officer I bago pinamunuan ang Monitoring Team ng Field Investigation Office (FIO) ng ahensya.
