PUMANAW na ang founder ng Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) na si Joma Sison sa edad na 83.

Ayon kay CPP chief information officer Marco Valbuena si Sison ay dalawang linggo ng nasa ospital sa the Netherlands.

Si Sison ay isang aktibista at siyang nagtatag ng CPP noong Disyembre 1968.

“The entire Communist Party of the Philippines gives the highest possible tribute to its founding chairman, great Marxist-Leninist-Maoist thinker, patriot, internationalist and revolutionary leader,” sabi ni Valbuena.

Ang CPP ay lumalaban sa gobyerno ng Pilipinas.

“The Filipino proletariat and toiling people grieve the death of their teacher and guiding light,” sabi pa ni Valbuena.

Sa gitna ng pagdadalamhati ay tuloy pa rin umano ang rebolusyon gamit ang ala-ala na iniwan ni Ka Joma.
