POSIBLENG makasuhan din si dating Pangulong Rodrigo R. Duterte dahil sa umano’y pagkakanlong kay Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, ang lider ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) na anim na buwang nagtago bago sumuko.

Ayon kay House Assistant Majority Leader Jil Bongalon, si Duterte ang administrador ng KOJC compound sa Davao City kung saan nagtago si Quiboloy.

“Being the administrator of Pastor Quiboloy’s estate, specifically the Kingdom of Jesus Christ in Davao City, where the evangelist was arrested, makes him liable under the law – at the very least for harboring a fugitive,” ani Bongalon.

Ayon kay Bongalon, kinatawan ng Ako Bicol party-list at isa ring abogado, inamin ng dating pangulo na siya ang itinalagang tagapangasiwa ng ari-arian ni Quiboloy at inamin niya ito sa Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI), ang TV network ng KOJC.

“The former president can – I think – fit in the definition of an accomplice,” saad pa ng mambabatas. “Being a lawyer also means being an officer of the court. Simply put, he should not be one who should be instrumental in the violation of the country’s laws.”

“It can even be a basis for a petition for disbarment, more so if it can be proven that he did this deliberately – it means not to serve the ends of justice, which is obviously an infraction of the law,” paliwanag pa ng kongresista. “Remember, he – for all intents and purposes – was a former president.”

Sinabi ni Bongalon na dapat ding imbestigahan o kasuhan ang anak ng dating Pangulo na si Vice President Sara Duterte, at malapit nitong kaibigang si Senador Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa ng obstruction of justice dahil sa pag-divert sa atensyon ng mga pulis sa paghahain ng warrant laban kay Quiboloy.

“As far as I’m concerned, the same principle applies to both of them. If the former president – who used to be the chief implementor of the country’s laws – can be charged for helping Quiboloy hide, then so should his daughter and the former PNP chief who is now a senator,” paliwanag pa ni Bongalon.

“Let us remember that the VP herself declared that the good pastor has already left the country. And now with Quiboloy’s arrest, what does that make of her? Did she or did she not protect him and obstruct the administration of justice by diverting police’s attention?” giit pa ni Bongalon.

Sumuko si Quiboloy sa Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP) sa loob ng compound ng KOJC.

Pagdating sa Villamor Air Base mula sa Davao City, agad na inilipat si Quiboloy sa Philippine National Police Custodial Facility sa Camp Crame.
