UPANG matulungan ang transisyon ng Pilipinas sa green economy, may alok na 60 milyong Euro ang European Union (EU).
Ayon kay Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. mayroong kasunduan kaugnay ng pagbibigay ng financial grant ng EU sa DENR para mapalakas ang green initiative ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas.
“On the development cooperation, we committed to conclude an agreement for the Green Economy Program in the Philippines (GEPP), a grant worth 60 million euros, which aims to support the Philippines in areas such as circular economy, renewable energy, and climate change mitigation,” ani Pangulong Marcos.
Sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos na naging produktibo ang pakikipagpulong nito kay European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
