PINAPURIHAN ni House Committee on Appropriations vice chairman at Aklan 2nd District Rep. Teodorico Haresco, Jr. si Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez dahil sa napanatili nito ang mataas na approval ratings sa pinakahuling survey.

Tumaas ang nakuhang kumpiyansa ni Speaker Romualdez sa 60% batay sa resulta ng Pulso ng Pilipino tracking survey ng The Issues and Advocacy Center (The CENTER) na isinagawa mula Setyembre 23 hanggang 30, at inilabas nitong nakaraang weekend.

Sa hiwalay naman na survey na ginawa ng OCTA Research nitong Hulyo 22 hanggang 26, nakakuha naman si Romualdez ng 54% na trust approval ratings.

“The consistently high approval ratings of Speaker Romualdez is proof of his proven and dynamic leadership as Speaker of the House of Representatives and as public servant. He has always been a reliable servant-leader to the people; quick to respond to the needs of every legislative district, especially during emergencies,” ani Haresco.

Tinukoy din ng batikang mambabatas ang mabilis na aksyon ni Speaker Romualdez upang makapagpaabot ng tulong sa mga nasalanta ng Severe Tropical Storm Paeng sa Western Visayas noong Nobyembre 2022 na puminsala sa mahigit P1 bilyong halaga ng ari-arian at pagkasawi ng 36 katao.

“The province of Aklan alone has witnessed his love and dedication to serve the Filipino people coupled with his decisive actions. When Typhoon Paeng struck our provinces, the Speaker has immediately sent aid within hours,” dagdag ng mambabatas.

Sabi pa ni Haresco napatunayan ng Aklan na maaasahan nito si Speaker Romualdez na tumulong din upang matugunan ang red tide at African Swine Fever sa probinsya.

“We are extremely grateful to the compassion and generosity that the Speaker has extended to our province. I am confident that with his strong-willed and effective leadership in the House of Representatives, more Filipino families will benefit greatly,” ani Haresco.
