PINAGTIBAY ng Kamara de Representantes ang resolusyon na nagpapahayag ng pakikidalamhati nito sa mga naulila sa pagpanaw ni dating Bulacan 2nd District Rep. Pedro Pancho.

Ang pagpapatibay sa House Resolution 1323 ay ginawa sa sesyon ngayong Biyernes matapos pansamantalang suspindihin ang deliberasyon ng P5.768-trillion General Appropriations Bill (GAB) o ang panukalang pambansang pondo para sa 2024.

Ang resolusyon ay iniakda nina Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio “Dong” D. Gonzales, Jr., Majority Leader Manuel Jose “Mannix” M. Dalipe, Minority Leader Marcelino C. Libanan, Senior Deputy Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander A. Marcos, Commitee on Accounts Chairperson Yedda Marie K. Romualdez at Deputy Majority Leader Jude A. Acidre.

“The honorable Pancho brought to the people of Bulacan the tangible gains of legislation, especially in social services and infrastructure. This is the legacy that he will be remember by his constituents,” sabi ni Speaker Romualdez.

“We join the late congressman’s family, his friends, and his people in their sorrow. He will be missed by all,” dagdag pa ng lider ng 311 miyembro ng Kamara.

Isang necrological service ang idinaos sa labas ng main lobby ng House of Representatives bilang pag-alala kay Pancho. Dinaluhan ito ng mga miyembro at empleyado ng Kapulungan.

Si Pancho ay ipinanganak noong Hulyo 2, 1934, sa Baliuag, Bulacan. Pumanaw siya noong Huwebes, September 21 sa edad na 89.

Siya ay naging kinatawan ng ikalawang distrito ng Bulacan noong 9th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th, at 15th Congress.

Kilala siya sa pagiging “devoted public servant who dedicated a great part of his life to public service”.

Si Pancho at kanyang misis na si Norma Cruz Pancho, na yumao na rin, ay pinagkalooban ng pitong anak. Ito ay sina Maria Esmeralda, Augustina Dominique “Ditse Tina,” Pedro, Jose Roman, Patricio, Jose Eusebio at Gavini.

Nakasaad sa pinagtibay na resolusyon ang pagbibigay prayoridad ni Pancho sa kaniyang mga kababayan sa pamamagitan ng pakikipag dayalogo sa mga ito ng anim na araw kada linggo, pagbibigay ng scholarship sa mga mahihirap at karapatdapat na estudyante sa kolehiyo at pagpapaabot ng tulong medikal at pinansyal sa mga mahihirap na pasyente ng Bulacan Medical Center, Baliuag District Hospital at Ospital ng Guiguinto.

Ilan sa panukalang iniakda ng namayapang mambabatas ang House Bill (HB) No. 6429, o “An Act Providing Subsidy for Students Affected by Tuition Fee Increases, Establishing for the Purpose the Educational Subsidy Fund, and Appropriating Funds Therefor” at HB 6749, o ang “An Act Establishing a Treasury Crop Certificate (TCC) System in the Marketing of Palay, Corn and Other Grains and Appropriating Funds Therefor,”

“The demise of Honorable Pedring Pancho leaves a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends and his constituents from the Second Legislative District of Bulacan who will always remember him for his honesty, integrity, hard work and genuine concern for the community and country,” saad sa resolusyon

Si Pancho ang ama ni incumbent Bulacan 2nd District Rep. Augustina Dominique “Ditse Tina” Pancho.
