INATASAN ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na tiyaking mapayapa, credible at maayos ang eleksyon sa Mayo 12.

Sa talumpati ni Pangulong Marcos sa oath-taking ceremony ng mga bagong promoted Generals and Flag Officers ng AFP at Foreign Pre-Commission Training Institutions (FPCTI) graduates sa Palasyo ng Malakanyang, sinahi nito na kailangang makamit ang expectation ng publiko.

“Once again we find ourselves at a critical juncture where we have to preserve not only the integrity of our election, but the very ethos of our democracy” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

“As a nation that deeply values and honors our right to vote, we are counting on the armed forces to ensure a peaceful, credible, and orderly conduct of the electoral process that the Filipinos expect from us. We cannot fail them,” dagdag ng Pangulo.

Binigyang diin ng Pangulo ang commitment ng AFP noong Solidarity Pact Signing for the 2025 National and Local Elections.

Hiling ni Pangulong Marcos sa mga bagong promote na opisyal, maging ehemplo.

“Be shining examples of how a Bagong Pilipino should be: disciplined, patriotic, and committed to the greater good for the most significant number,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

Tiniyak ni Pangulong Marcos na buo ang suporta ng administrasyon sa para mapanatili ang kapayapaan, demokrasya at rule of law sa bansa.

“As your Commander-in-Chief, I offer you my salute and express my utmost appreciation to all your selfless sacrifices and services, not only to get to this point but all through the years of your duty,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

Nasa 35 AFP generals at flag officers ang na-promote habang siyam na military personnel mula sa FPCTI ang nagtapos sa training course.

“You persevered in improving our country’s security, you have pursued reforms to better your organization, and you have taken steps to enhance your capabilities. This day is dedicated to those achievements,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
