MULING inulit ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang pagsuporta nito sa modernisasyon ng Philippine Air Force (PAF) at ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

Ibinigay ni Marcos ang kanyang pagsuporta sa modernisasyon sa Change of Command and Retirement Ceremony para kay Lt. Gen. Connor Anthony D. Canlas Sr. sa Villamor Air Base.

“Be assured that this administration remains committed to the modernization of the Philippine Air Force and the entire Armed Forces of the Philippines,” ani Marcos.

“I, therefore, ask you to remain dedicated to your duties and continue to work closely with this administration as we build a safe, secure, peaceful country for the benefit of all Filipinos,” dagdag pa ng Pangulo.

Sinabi ni Marcos na nais nito na maging world-class ang Air Force upang lubusan itong makatulong sa pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan at kaayusan sa bansa.

Nagpahayag din ang Pangulo ng kumpiyansa sa liderato ni Major General Stephen Parreño, ang 39th commanding general ng PAF.

“I am proud and I am grateful to you, along with the members of the Philippine Air Force and the Armed Forces of the Philippines, for your invaluable efforts to secure our people and our country,” sabi pa ng Pangulo.

Pinuri rin ni Marcos ang PAF sa pagtulong nito sa mga nasalanta.
