PERSONAL na pinuntahan ni Vice President at Education Secretary Sara Duterte ang isang paaralan sa Bohol na sinira ng bagyong Odette.

Binisita ni Duterte ang Clarin National School of Fisheries at pinag-usapan doon ang mga problemang kinakaharap ng sektor ng edukasyon.

“Bohol is dear to my heart. Last year, I was with you when you surmounted the devastation of Typhoon Odette. Those were difficult, sleepless days and nights for all of you. Yet, I witnessed how you ascended to acceptance, forgiveness, and starting anew,” sabi ni Duterte.

Pinuri naman ni Duterte ang pagsasama-sama ng mga Boholano upang muling makabangon.

“To see all of you today, the same people, now armored with tenacity and grace, is a glorious moment and I am happy to be with you, to be with all of you today,” dagdag pa nito.

Umaasa si Duterte na kakalat umano sa buong bansa ang ginawang pagsasama-sama ng mga Boholano gayundin ang kanilang pagtitiwala na malalagpasan ang hamong kinakaharap.

“My dream is to see all of us, wearing a singular Filipino spirit for love of country and service just as the Boholanos,” sabi pa ni Duterte.

Pinanood din ni Duterte ang komemorasyon ng Sandugo na ginagawa tuwing Araw ng Bohol upang gunitain ang pagkakaibigan ng Spanish explorer na si Miguel López de Legazpi at Datu Sikatuna.
