INIRERESPETO ng kampo ni presidential frontrunner Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang desisyon ni House Deputy Speaker Rodante Marcoleta na umatras sa pagtakbo sa pagka-senador.

Sinabi ni Atty. Vic Rodriguez, spokesman at chief of staff ni Marcos na nakalulungkot ang pag-atras ni Marcoleta at ipinagpasalamat ng kanilang kampo ang patuloy na pagsuporta nito sa UniTeam.

“We respect this move and express deep appreciation for his continuous support for the BBM-Sara tandem and the UniTeam, despite his decision to withdraw,” sabi ni Rodriguez sa isang pahayag.

Ayon kay Rodriguez maaaring ito ang nakatadhana na mangyari at sa huli ay maaaring mayroong ibang gagawin si Marcoleta.

“At this point, we submit to serendipity, that everything happens from the point of view of destiny, believing that in the end, Rep. Marcoleta might be serving a different, yet a higher purpose,” dagdag pa ni Rodriguez.
