Pagbisita ni US VP Harris hindi makakaapekto sa relasyon ng PH at China
HINDI umano maapektuhan ng pagbisita ni US Vice President Kamala Harris sa Palawan ang relasyon ng Pilipinas at China.
Ito ang sinabi ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa panayam ng media sa Bangkok, Thailand.
“I don’t see why they should. She is in the Philippines and she is visiting another part of the Philippines. And of course, it is the closest area to the South China Sea, but it’s very clearly on Philippine territory, so I don’t think there should be… I don’t think it will cause any problems,” sabi ni Marcos.
Inaasahan ang pagdating sa Pilipinas ni Harris sa Linggo, Nobyembre 20, matapos ang Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit.
Nakatakda itong makipagkita kina Pangulong Marcos at Vice President Sara Duterte sa Lunes, Nobyembre 21.
Plano ni Harris na bumisita sa Palawan na malapit sa pinag-aagawang mga teritoryo sa West Philippine Sea.
