KUMPIYANSA si Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco na lilikha ng maraming trabaho at pag unlad ng ekonomiya ang paglago ng manufacturing sector.

“The Philippine government is fully committed to supporting our manufacturing sector.

Under the leadership of President Marcos, we aim to further strengthen manufacturing as a major contributor of economic growth and job generation,” pahayag ni Tiangco.

Binanggit niya ang ulat kamakailan ng S&P Global na sinabing tumataas ang Philippine’s Purchasing Managers” Index (PMI) sa 54.3 noong Disyembre na mas higit na mataas kumpara sa mga bansa sa Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

“It is worth noting that the latest reading is the Philippines’ strongest result since November 2017 and the 16th consecutive month that the PMI had settled above the 50-mark,” paliwanag ng kongresista.

Inilarawan ni Tiangco ang ulat ng PMI bilang magandang simula para sa 2025 dahil kapag lumagpas ng 50 ang pagtaya ng PMI, nangangahulugan ito ng paglago habang ang mas mababa pa sa 50 nagbabadya ng paurong na pagunlad.

“This is a great way to begin the year. We hope that our robust PMI data will translate into faster GDP growth and increased demand, allowing businesses to expand their workforce and create more jobs for Filipinos,” sabi pa ni Tiangco.
