NAGBABALA ang Malacañang sa publiko kaugnay ng mga indibidwal na nagbibigay umano ng presidential appointment.

Inilabas ng Palasyo ang babala matapos na pumunta sa Malacañang ang walong indibidwal para umano sa kanilang oath taking.

Ayon sa mga biktima, isang Undersecretary Eduardo Diokno at Assistant Secretary Johnson See na nagpakilala na taga-Office of the Executive Secretary ang nakipag-ugnayan sa kanila kaugnay ng kanilang panunumpa sa tungkulin na pangangasiwaan ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

“The Office of the President cordially invites you to attend the oath taking ceremony to be presided by His Excellency President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at the Rizal Hall, Malacañang Palace, two o’clock in the afternoon, Monday, 5th of December 2022,” sabi sa sulat na natanggap ng mga biktima.

Sinabi ni Senior Deputy Executive Secretary Hubert Guevara na walang schedule para sa oath-taking sa binabanggit na petsa.

Ayon sa mga biktima nagbigay sila ng pera sa mga scammer matapos na matanggap ang imbitasyon.

Kasama sa mga pekeng appointment paper ay ambassadorial post sa The Netherlands, Department of Transportation assistant secretary, Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) board member, Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) president and chief executive officer (CEO), Early Childhood Care and Development Council executive director and vice chairperson, Clark Development Corp. (CDC) director at Port of Batangas manager.

Iniimbestigahan na ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang insidente at umapela ang Palasyo sa mga nabiktima na makipagtulungan upang mahanap ang mga nasa likod ng panloloko.
