INAPRUBAHAN na ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang panukalang Fiscal Year 2025 National Expenditure Program (NEP).

Ito ay para masuportahan ang Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028 ng administrasyon.

Prayoridad ng panukalang budget ang food security, social protection, healthcare, housing, disaster resilience, infrastructure, digital connectivity, at energization.

Nasa P6.352 trilyon ang panukalng budget para sa susunod na taon.

“Since I’ve seen it before on the macro level, I think the priorities in terms of our proposed appropriations, upon addressing it, weighted our priorities properly in terms of appropriations,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

Pinakamalaking makakukuha ng pondo ang edukasyon(DepEd, SUCs, CHED, TESDA), public works (DPWH), health (kasama ang PhilHealth), interior and local government (DILG), at defense (DND).

Prayoridad din ng gobyerno ang social welfare, (DSWD), agriculture (DA) and attached corporations; Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR); Department of Transportation (DOTr), the judiciary, at justice
