BIBISITA si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa Japan sa Pebrero.

Ayon kay Pangulong Marcos nagpahatid ng imbitasyon si Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida nang sila ay magkita sa sideline ng United Nations General Assembly sa New York noong Setyembre.

Tinanggap umano ni Pangulong Marcos ang imbitasyon.

“We are now talking to the Japanese authorities, to Japanese foreign service as to when will be the most suitable time for me to come,” ani Pangulong Marcos.

Ang tentative date ay sa ikalawang linggo umano ng Pebrero.

“The Japanese have many concerns about regional security, and the Philippines is seen as an important part of maintaining that security in partnership with friends and partners like Japan and the other countries in the Indo-Pacific and Asia-Pacific regions,” dagdag pa ng Pangulo.

Bago ang biyahe sa Japan, pupunta ang Pangulo sa Davos, Switzerland para sa isasagawang economic forum bago matapos ang Enero.
