Nagpaabot ng pagbati si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa Filipino-Chinese community sa pagdiriwang ng Chinese New Year, habang nakiisa rin si First Lady Liza Marcos sa selebrasyon.

Hangad ni Pangulong Marcos na maging makabuluhan ang pagdiriwang ng okasyon.

“This cherished occasion, steeped in century-old tradition and boundless joy, is a radiant tapestry of cultural splendor, symbolizing hope, renewal, and the indomitable spirit of perseverance. As the Year of the Snake dawns, we are recalled to the virtues of wisdom, intuition, and transformation, calling us to embrace its promise of prosperity with courage and determination,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

“As we welcome a new year of self-improvement and good fortune, let this event inspire us to boldly set our intentions and confidently pursue grand ambitions not only for ourselves but for the greater good,” dagdag ng Pangulo.

Sabi pa ng Pangulong Marcos, matupad sana ng bawat isa ang mga hinahangad sa buhay.

“May this occasion remind us that every challenge is a chance for growth, and every effort, guided by clarity and resolve, is an opportunity to fulfil our shared aspirations,” dagdag niya.

“Let the vibrant lanterns that illuminate our celebration also brighten our purpose as a nation. Samanatala, sa Facebook post ay makikitang dumalo si First Lady Liza Marcos sa okasyon sa Embassy of the People’s Republic of China sa Makati City.

Kasama ng First Lady si Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian.

Nagkaroon ng salo-salo at sinaksihan din ni First Lady Liza Marcos ang fireworks display.

“On this joyful celebration of the Lunar New Year, we warmly recognize the deep ties between our peoples. Built on friendship and mutual respect,” pahayag ni First Lady Liza Marcos.
