PBBM inaprubahan single operating system sa pakikipagtransaksyon sa gobyerno
INAPRUBAHAN ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang paggamit ng single operating system para sa lahat ng transaksyon sa gobyerno.
Sinabi rin ng Pangulo na dapat ikonsidera ang pagkakaiba ng code na ginagamit at polisiyang ipinatutupad ng mga national agency at mga lokal na pamahalaan.
“I think it may help when you’re writing the code or when you’re putting the system together, you’re going to have to think about the differences between the national bureaucracy and the different LGUs,” ani Pangulong Marcos sa pinangunahan nitong sectoral meeting.
“Those are the things that we still work with. The questions we were trying to bring it down to that level, and the local governments are really part of that thing. You’ve seen how it can happen. That’s what we need to address,” sabi ng Pangulo.
Kasalukuyan upang inaalam ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) at Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) ang proseso ng iba’t ibang ahensya na pagsasama-samahin sa paggawa ang isang sistema.
Maging ang mga lokal na pamahalaan ay saklaw umano ng ease of doing business law kaya dapat magtayo ang mga ito ng electronic business one-stop-shop.
Pinatutulong din ng Pangulo ang DICT at ARTA sa mga lokal na pamahalaan oara mabuo ang Business Permits and Licensing Systems in All Cities and Municipalities (BPLS) system.
Kasama sa naturang pagpupulog sina DTI Secretary Alfredo Pascual, Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr., Information and Communications Technology Undersecretary David Almirol Jr., ARTA Director General Ernesto Perez at Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio.
