PBBM, Vatican Archbishop Gallagher nagpulong sa Palasyo
NAGPULONG sina Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. at Vatican’s foreign minister Archbishop Paul Gallagher sa Palasyo ng Malakanyang.
Sa courtesy call ni Archbishop Gallagher, sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos na isang malaking karangalan na bumisita ang Arsobispo sa Manila at magtutungo pa sa Mindanao.
“Thank you very much for making time and coming here,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
Pangako ni Pangulong Marcos, patuloy na makikipagtulungan ang Pilipinas sa Vatican.
“We have continued to be work in very close consonance with the Vatican for many, many years now. We claim to be not only a Catholic country but a very Catholic country,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
“It really is. It is very much part of our culture and the Vatican has worked with the Philippines in very many cases even on early on, on issues that were outside the Philippines’ purview,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
Nasa Pilipinas si Archbishop Gallagher para sa limang araw na official visit.
