PBBM, VP-elect Sara nag-congrats kay Romualdez
NAGPA-ABOT ng mainit na pagbati sina President-Elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. at incoming Vice-President Inday Sara Duterte para kay incoming House Speaker at House Majority Leader Martin G. Romualdez kaugnay sa isinagawang “oath-taking”ceremony ni Romualdez bilang nahalal na kongresista ng 1st District ng Leyte.
Isinagawa ang “oath-taking” ceremony ni Romualdez sa Remedios T. Romualdez Foundation Gymnasium sa Calanipawan Road sa Leyte kung saan, personal na dumalo si Vice-President Duterte, kapartido ni Romualdez sa Lakas-Muslim Christian Democrats (Lakas-CMD) angnasabing okasyon.
Binati ni President-elect Marcos si Romualdez sa pamamagitan ng isang video message. Ipinaabot nito ang kaniyang mensahe para sa Majority Leader kasunod ng pagbanggit ni Marcos sa kaniya bilang susunod naHouse Speaker sa ilalim ng 19th Congress.
“I would like to add my congratulations to the officers and officials taking their oath today. Namely of course the honourable Ferdinand Martin Gomez Romualdez who is taking his oath as congressman, the first district. And is the incoming Speaker of the House of Representatives,” sabi ni Marcos sa kaniyang video message.
Binati din ng incoming Chief Executive (Marcos) si Tacloban City Mayor Alfred Romualdez, Tingog Party List Reps. Yedda Marie Romualdez (maybahay ni Cong. Romualdez) at Jude Acidre. Nagkaroon din ng ‘oath-taking” para sa tatlong nahalal na opisyal.
“I look forward to working with you all very, very closely. As I say to all our number, is that the problems we are facing now and post-pandemic are going to be serious challenges and that is why I ask all of you for your help in making the country better and making the lives of our people better,” dagdag pa ni Marcos sa kaniyang mensahe.
