BUMABA umano ang bilang ng mga naitalang krimen noong Setyembre, ayon sa Philippine National Police (PNP).

Batay sa datos ng Crime Information Reporting and Analysis System (CIRAS), bumaba ng 11.98 porsyento ang bilang ng index crimes noong Setyembre o mula 3,056 noong Agosto ay bumaba sa 2,690 noong Setyembre.

Pinakamalaki umano ang ibinaba ng krimen sa Mindanao (28.47 porsyento), na sinundan ng Visayas (10.24 porsyento), at Luzon 5.96 (porsyento).

Bumaba ang bilang ng homicide (26.09 porsyento), rape (25.99 porsyento), at murder (20.67 porsyento).

Ang bilang ng naitalang physical injury, theft, robbery, at motorcycle theft ay bumaba rin).

Kumpiyansa si PNP chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. na magpapatuloy ang pagbaba ng bilang ng krimen sa paglapit ng pagtatapos ng taon.

“We remain optimistic that this downward trend of crime will prevail until the holiday season in December onwards to the New Year when maximum deployment of police and security personnel is expected in anticipation of increased public activities,” sabi ni Azurin.
