Requirement sa pagkuha ng prangkisa binawasan ng LTFRB
BINAWASAN ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ang requirement sa pagkuha ng prangkisa ng pampublikong sasakyan o certificate of public convenience (CPC)
Ayon sa LTFRB inalis na nito ang certificate of conformity (COC) requirement na kalimitang sanhi ng delay sa pag-apruba o pagbasura ng aplikasyon.
Bahagi umano ito ng pagsunod ng ahensya sa Republic Act 11032 o Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Delivery Service Act of 2018.
“In the spirit of RA 11032, which was enacted to help simplify and streamline requirements to reduce red tape in business transactions in government, we hope that removing the COC requirement in a vehicle franchise application will help ease the burden among the transacting public and give them more convenience in securing that much-needed vehicle franchise,” sabi ni LTFRB Chairman Teofilo Guadiz III.
Ang COC ay kinukuha sa bangko o financial institution na inutangan sa pagbili ng sasakyan.
