Inanunsyo ni Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo ang suspensyon ng pasok sa Korte Suprema sa Lunes, Enero 9, dahil sa pista ng Itim Na Nazareno.

Ayon sa Memorandum Order No. 02-2023, inaasahan na ang pagbigat ng daloy ng trapiko dulot ng pagsasara ng ilang kalsada sa Maynila kaya minabuti na suspendihin na lamang ang pasok sa SC.

“In view of the expected heavy traffic in the vicinity because of the several road closures in the City of Manila brought about by the celebration of the Feast of the Black Nazarene, work in the Supreme Court, Manila, is suspended on 9 January 2023, Monday, except essential staff of offices who may be required to report for work in Manila to assist those who are in Baguio for the sessions,” sabi ng memorandum.

Ilang kalsada ang isasara ng city government ng Maynila mula Enero 6 hanggang 8 para sa mga aktibidad na isasagawa kaugnay ng pista.

Inaasahan na aabot sa 5 milyong katao ang makikilahok sa Walk of Faith procession mula sa Quirino Grandstand hanggang Quiapo Church sa Enero 8.

Hindi gaya ng Traslacion, walang imahe ng Black Nazarene na ipaparada sa Walk of Faith.
