PINAPURIHAN ni House Speaker Ferdinand “Martin” Gomez Romualdez si Vice-President Inday Sara Duterte dahil sa hindi matatawarang serbisyo at “leadership” nito upang paglingkuran ang mamamayang Pilipino.

Ang pahayag ni Speaker Romualdez ay kaugnay sa pagtungo mismo ni VP Duterte sa Kamara de Representantes para dumalo sa Budget hearing ng House Committee on Appropriations para depensahan ang 2023 budget ng Office of the Vice-President (OVP).

Kabilang din sa dinepensahan ni Duterte sa deliberasyon ng House Committee on Appropriations ay ang 2023 budget ng Department of Education (DeEp) na siya rin ang tumatayong kalihim.

Sinabi ni Romualdez na makakaasa aniya si Duterte dahil katulong nito ang mga mamababatas sa ilalim ng 19th Congress sa paghahanap ng sapat na pondo para sa mga programa at proyekto ng OVP at DepEd na magpapataas sa kalidad ng pamumuhay ng mga Pilipino.

“You have exhibited once more your exemplary brand of leadership by showing up at the House Committee on Appropriations hearing to defend the budget of the Office of the Vice President (OVP) and the Departmentf of Education (DepEd),” sabi ni Speaker Romualdez.
