MULING iginiit ni Vice President Sara Duterte ang paninindigan nito na hindi dapat kaawaan ang mga kalaban ng estado.

Sa kanyang pakikipagpulong sa mga opisyal ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), binigyan-diin ni Duterte ang kahalagahan na mapalakas ang military defense ng bansa.

“Our objective was to strengthen existing coordination and enhance interagency cooperation on issues concerning our national security and the country’s development,” sabi ni Duterte.

Dapat umanong maging matibay ang polisiya laban sa mga kriminal at terorista at maging sa mga sumusuporta sa mga ito

“Our policy against criminals and terrorists and those that support and espouse their ideologies of violence should be hardline. We should show no mercy to criminals and terrorists,” dagdag pa ni Duterte.

Si Duterte ang officer-in-charge ng Office of the President habang si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos ay nasa labas ng bansa.

Ayon sa ikalawang pangulo ang maaaring marating na kaunlaran ng bansa ay posibleng mahadlangan ng mga magiging hamon sa seguridad nito kaya mahalaga na maging matibay ang paglaban sa mga kalaban ng estado.

“The Philippines will only be able to truly recover and rebuild post-pandemic and meaningfully stand with honor and pride as a nation if we successfully address threats to our security,” giit ni Duterte.
