MALAKI ang kompiyansa ng isang Metro Manila solon na maganda ang kapalaran at kinabukasang naghihintay para sa papasok pa lamang na 19th Congress sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni House Majority Leader at Leyte 1st Dist. Rep. Martin G. Romualdez bilang susunod na House Speaker.

Naniniwala ang dating aktor at ngayo’y outgoing Quezon City 5th Dist. Rep. Alfred Vargas na maganda ang magiging kaganapan sa Mababang Kapulungan ng Kongreso. Kapag si Romualdez na ang nanunungkulan bilang House Speaker ng 19th Congress.

“I have seen firsthand the excellence in statesmanship, law making and governance that incoming Speaker Martin Romualdez has demonstrated. I feel secure for my fellow legislators and my fellow Filipinos knowing that Speaker Romualdez is at the helm of the lower House,” sabi ni Vargas.

Binanggit din ni Vargas, Chairman ng House Committee Social Services, ang maraming accomplishments ng 18th Congress. Dahil sa maganda at mahusay na pamumuno ni Romualdez bilang House Majority Leader.

Kabilang na dito ang pagpasa ng 2022 National Budget, pag-rollout sa vaccination program ng pamahalaan at social assistance para mga mamamayan na naapektuhan ng pandemya.

“We have enacted a significant number of measures to address the immediate concerns of our fellow Filipinos. And we owe a great deal to decisive and capable House leadership. I am confident that the upcoming lower chamber will sustain these efforts to craft more rational policies to steer the Philippines forward,” sabi pa ng mambabatas patungkol kay Romualdez.
