NAKIDALAMHATI ang ‘Young Guns” ng Kamara de Representantes sa pagpanaw ni dating Lanao del Sur Gov. Soraya Alonto Adiong, ang ina ng kanilang kapwa Young Guns na si Lanao del Sur 1st District Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong.

“Gov. Soraya was not just a leader—she was a mother to her province. In the darkest times, especially during the Marawi Siege, she stood firm, ensuring that every civilian was protected and heard. She led with both strength and compassion, qualities that earned her the love and respect of her people,” sabi ng Young Guns sa isang pahayag.

Nakiramay din sina Reps. Pinuri ng mga kongresista ang natatanging pamumuno ng pumanaw na lider lalo na noong Marawi Siege, kung kailan walang kapaguran itong nagtrabaho upang mapangalagaan ang kapakanan ng kanyang nasasakupan.

“She worked in close coordination with the Armed Forces of the Philippines and national agencies to ensure the safety and protection of civilian lives,” sabi ng mga mambabatas. “But her greatest strength was her connection with the people. She personally visited every municipality, bringing the Provincial Government closer to the people and showing what it truly means to lead by example.”

“Gov. Soraya’s devotion to her people was unmatched. She was a beacon of hope, a guiding light, and the ‘Mother of Lanao del Sur.’ Her legacy of resilience, compassion, and service will forever inspire not just her province but the entire nation,” dagdag pa ng grupo.

Nakiisa rin ang mga mambabatas kay Congressman Zia at pamilya nito sa panahon ng pagdadalamhati.
