‘Nailagay sa tamang perspektibo navigational freedom sa WPS‘

PINURI ng mga lider ng Kamara de Representantes si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. sa matagumpay na trilateral meeting nito sa Washington D.C. kasama sina US President Joe Biden at Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

Ikinatuwa ng mga kongresista, na tinaguriang “Young Guns” ng Kamara, ang resulta ng pagpupulong na nagpalakas umano sa diplomatic at military alliance ng Pilipinas sa Amerika at Japan sa gitna ng pagiging agresibo ng China sa WPS.

“The summit shows a concrete way forward for deeper cooperation among the Philippines, US and Japan as natural partners linked together by the Pacific Ocean,” ani House Assistant Majority Leader at Lanao del Sur Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong.

Inilarawan ni Adiong na “unprecedented engagement” ang naging pagpupulong ng tatlong lider.

Para naman sa mga kasama ni Adiong naipakita ng pagpupulong kung gaano kasigasig si Pangulong Marcos sa kanyang pagtatrabaho upang mapabuti ang kalagayan ng mga Pilipino at mapangalagaan ang teritoryo ng bansa.

“The summit underscored the importance of multi-layered collaboration among allies to strengthen the free and open international order based on the rule of law amid the various crises in the world right now,” sabi ni Davao Oriental Rep. Cheeno Miguel Almario.

Para naman kay Taguig Rep. Pammy Zamora, “we look forward to significant progress in our bilateral and trilateral cooperation, including the conclusion of the Reciprocal Access Agreement (RAA) with Japan.”

Sinabi naman ni House Deputy Majority Leader and PBA Party-list Rep. Migs Nograles na ipinakikita ng pagpupulong ang trilateral cooperation ng Pilipinas, Amerika, at Japan para sa pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan at pag-unlad sa Indo-Pacific region.”

Ayon naman kay La Union Rep. Paolo Ortega “it was all worth it” ang pagpupulong.

“The dialogue between the three leaders gives us a higher sense of peace of mind, knowing fully well that we are not alone in this journey, that we have allies who are sympathetic to our cause,” sabi ni Ortega.

Para naman kay House Assistant Majority Leader at Zambales Rep. Jay Khonghun ang pagpupulong ay isang “victory on both the diplomatic and military fronts of governance.” “This cooperation guarantees the commitment of each of the three countries to ensure freedom of navigation on the western side of the Philippines.”

Ikinatuwa naman ni House Assistant Majority Leader at Ako Bicol Partylist Rep. Jil Bongalon ang pagkakaisa ng tatlong lider na panatilihin ang kaayusan at malayang paglalayag sa WPS at sa Indo-Pacific.
