11 LEDAC bills ni PBBM tututukan ng Kamara — Romualdez

INIHAYAG araw ng Linggo ni House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Gomez Romualdez na inaprubahan na ni President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos, Jr. ang karagdagang labing-isang Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) bills na tumatalakay sa public health, job creation at economic growth.

Sinabi ni Speaker Romualdez na kabilang sa labing-isang LEDAC bills na inaprubahan ng Pangulong Marcos, Jr. ay ang Maharlika Investment Fund (IMF). Kung saan, aabot na sa 42 mula sa orihinal na 32 ang kabuuang bilang ng “priority measure” o mga panukalang batas na prayoridad ng adminitrasyong Marcos, Jr.

Ipinaliwanag pa ni Speaker Romualdez na sa pagpapatuloy ng session ng Kongreso (May 08). Ang pangunahing tututukan nila ay ang mga priority measures ni Pangulong Marcos, Jr. na nakasentro sa usapin ng public health, job creation at pagpapa-ulad sa ekonomiya ng bansa o “stimulate economic growth”.

“President Marcos approved eleven bills designed to address the key issues on public health, job creation and further stimulate economic growth as part of his administration’s priority legislation (LEDAC). These measures will be the focus of our legislative efforts when Congress resumes session this Monday,” sabi ng House Speaker.

Sinabi pa ni Speaker Romualdez na kabilang sa 11 priority measures ay ang 1. Pag-amiyenda sa fixed term ng mga opisyal ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), 2. Ease of Paying Taxes, 3. MIF, 4. Local Government Unit Income Classification at 5. Amendments to Universal Health Care Act, 6. Bureau of Immigration Modernization, 7. Infrastructure Development Plan / Build, Build Build Program, 8. Philippine Salt Industry Development Plan, 9. Philippine Ecosystem and Natural Capital Accounting System (PENCAS), 10. National Employment to Action Plan at 11. Amendments to the Anti-Agricultural Smuggling Act.

Ayon pa sa House Speaker, tututukan din ng liderato ng Kamara de Representantes ang pag-apruba sa natitirang walong panukalang batas mula sa orihinal na priority list.

Ipinaliwanag ni Speaker Romualdez na kung magagawa ng Kongreso na maaprubahan ang mga masabing panukalang batas.

Mangangahulugan lamang ito na naaprubahan na nila ang lahat ng “urgent measures” ni Pangulong Marcos, Jr. sa loob ng isang kalahating taon.

“These proposed pieces of legislation support the President’s agenda for Prosperity and his eight-point socio-economic roadmap,” dagdag pa ni Speaker Romualdez.
