“Our first and foremost concern should be the well-being and safety of our kababayans who may be affected by the evolving situation in Venezuela,” aniya.
Dagdag pa niya, “prudence dictates that we allow tensions to subside and more facts to emerge before making definitive pronouncements.”
“It is premature to conclude whether international law has been violated. The United States government maintains that the incident was part of a law-enforcement operation.” ani
Binigyang-diin din niya na “restraint and careful assessment are essential to avoid speculation and unnecessary escalation.”
Ayon sa kaniya, “I strongly condemn this act of aggression, the oil-backed interests behind it, and the new world order it portends.”
Aniya, “No country should unilaterally attack an independent state. No country should be allowed to ‘run’ a sovereign nation.” Dagdag pa niya, “This principle must hold true for the United States and for every nation that still values a rules-based international order.” ani Estrada.
“Concerned about the far-reaching consequences of this action for the entire world, particularly for the Philippines, whose territories and resources are increasingly vulnerable to China’s expansive claims and ambitions.” ani Hontiveros.
“Resist a return to a world order ruled by brute force” at “collectively strive for peace and fair play.” giit ng senadora
