TINIYAK ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na tuloy-tuloy ang implementasyon ng North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) system.

Ito ang sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos matapos na isapinal ang Contract Packages S-02 at S-03B ng NSCR.

“As the civil works for these contract packages commence, we expect not only the generation of more than 2,000 jobs but also the creation of other opportunities and livelihood during its construction,” ani Pangulong Marcos.

Ito ang hudyat ng ikatlong yugto ng implementasyon ng South Commuter Railway Project (SCRP) na may haba na 14 kilometro.

Babagtasin nito ang Metro Manila at magkokonekta sa northern at southern leg ng NSCR system.

Makikinabang ang halos 800,000 pasahero kapag nakumpleto na ang 147.26 kilometro na NSCR system sa 2029.

“Most importantly, the completion of the full NSCR line will bring greater convenience for our commuters. It will offer an efficient and comfortable transport alternative that spans the great distance, connecting Pampanga to Manila and then to Laguna,” sabi pa ng Pangulo.
