BIBISITA sa Pilipinas si Indonesian President Joko Widodo sa susunod na linggo.

Ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ang pagdalaw ng Indonesian President ay naglalayong palakasin ang relasyon ng Pilipinas at Indonesia.

“President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is pleased to welcome His Excellency Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia, for his upcoming official visit to the Philippines, scheduled on 9-11 January 2024,” sabi ng DFA.

“The Philippines and Indonesia, both founding members of ASEAN, are close neighbors and partners that have enjoyed longstanding and robust cooperation in a wide range of areas in the political, economic, and people-to-people relations, ” sabi pa ng DFA.

Magpupulong si Pangulong Marcos at Widodo sa Enero 10.

Sa Nobyembre ay ipagdiriwang ang ika-75 anibersaryo ng formal diplomatic relations ng Pilipinas at Indonesia, ayon sa DFA.
