SUMANDAL ang Pangasinan Heatwaves sa 1-2 punch nina dating PBA players Ed Daquioag at Hesed Gabo upang durugin ang Bulacan Kuyas, 87-55, at masungkit ang kanilang unang panalo sa MPBL (Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League) Season 6 sa Paco Arena sa Manila.

Umiskor si Daquioag ng 17 points mula 6-of-14 shootingsa loob lamang ng 16 minutes, habang nagdagdag si Gabo 15 points, four assists, at three rebounds para pangunahan ang panalo ng Heatwaves ni coach Jerson Cabiltes.

Nakatulong nila sina homegrown Mark Meneses at Michael Mabulac, na kapwa may 10 points, at Jerald Bautista na may nine points at four assists.

Tanging si Jason Celis ang gumawa ng double figures para sa Bulacan matapos ang17 points at four rebounds para kay coach Buddz Reyes.
