BINATI ng “congratulations” ni incoming House Speaker – House Majority Leader at Leyte 1st Dist. Rep. Martin G. Romualdez si Davao City Mayor IndaySara Duterte bilang 15th Vice President ng bansa matapos ang isinagawang“inauguration” ni Duterte sa Davao City.

“By her victory, she has done her father. President Duterte, her family and her constituents proud. It’s just apt that she wants to begin her term as Vice-President in her home city,” sabi ni Romualdez.

Sinabi din ni Romualdez na ang tagumpay nina Mayor Sara at President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. ay hindi lamang tagumpay para sa kanilang mga sarili. Bagkos, tagumpay din ng mahigit 31 milyong Pilipino na nagtiwala sakanilang mensahe ng pagkakaisa para sa Pilipinas.

“More importantly, the victory of Mayor Sara and President-elect Marcos is the triumph of more than 31 million Filipinos who shared their message of unity for the country and their aspiration of a better life for our people,” dagdag pa ni Romualdez.

Binigyang diin pa ng Majority Leader na sina Marcos at Duterte ang mga kauna-unahang kandidato sa kasaysayan ng bansa na nakakuha ng “majority vote” sanakalipas na halalan. Kung kaya’t, sa pamamagitan ng suporta ng sambayanan. Madali nilang makakamit ang kanilang minimithi at vision para sa mamamayangPilipino.

“I have seen up close synergy between them, their limitless energy, dynamism, dedication to their job. And their compassion, and I have no doubt that they will succeed,” ayon kay Romualdez.
