CAMP PRES. QUIRINO, Bulag, Bantay, Ilocos Sur–Kinondena ng Ilocos Sur Police Provincial Office (ISPPO) shooting incident sa harap ng Land Registry Authority (LRA) in Brgy. V, Bantay, Ilocos Sur na ikinamatay ng isa at ikinasugat ng dalawa pa.

Sinabi ni Col. Agosto Asuncion na naglunsad na sila ng quick response and immediate hot pursuit operation kasama ang mga police personnel.

Ang pagkamatay ng biktima ay sa sa mga unsolved killings na dumarami na sa Ilocos Sur at ito ay nakakabahala na, ayon sa opisyal.

“The ISPPO assures the public that every investigative procedure is being carefully observed to ensure that evidence is properly documented, leads are thoroughly pursued and the case is resolved swiftly and in accordance with law,” sabi niya.

Nakikiramay ang ISPPO sa naiwan ng napatay at sinabi na ang PNP “extends its deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of the victim.”
