MULA 2020 hanggang ngayon, matibay ang partnership ng Converge ICT Solutions at UP men’s basketball team.

Kamakailan, inanunsyo nina Converge Brand and Marketing Head Orange Ramirez at Senior Marketing Services Specialist Joven Quintana ang pagbibigay ng dalawang shuttle vans para magamit ng Fighting Maroons.

Pormal na ipinagkaloob ng mga Converge officials ang mga susi ng dalawang shuttles sa mga UP officials, sa pangunguna nina UP President Atty. Jijil Jimenez, UP Diliman Chancellor Atty. Carlo Vistan at UP Office for Athletics and Sports Development director Bo Perasol sa simpleng turnover ceremony.

Dinaluhan din ito ng mga officials ng nowheretogobutUP Foundation, sa pangunguna ni Chairman Jed Eva, ang UP Fighting Maroons at kanilang mga coaches. “As always, we are grateful and appreciative of Converge’s support all through these years, especially during the pandemic,” pahayag ni UP Fighting Maroons assistant team manager Hyatt Basman.

“This will not just be of great help to the basketball team, but to other UP varsity teams as well.”

Nagpasalamat din si UP OASD director Perasol sa kanilang suporta.

“First of all, we want to thank Sir Dennis Uy and the Converge family for their support. But most importantly, for being there for us and with us during tough times while we were in the middle of the pandemic.”

Sinimulan ang partnership ng Converge at UP Fighting Maroons nung 2020, na kung saan nagbigay sila ng libreng internet access sa mga UP students nung panahon ng distance learning.
