MAKIKIPAGPULONG si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. kay US President Donald Trump sa Amerika.

Ito ay para ayusin at resolbahin ang usapin sa deportasyon ng mga Filipino sa Amerika.

Sa ambush interview sa Cebu City, sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos, mahalaga ang papel na ginagampanan ng mga Filipinong manggagawa sa workforce ng Amerika.

“This is something that we have to work through and hopefully resolve because the Filipinos in the United States, especially, have really formed the important part already of their workforce. Let’s see if we can influence the policy-making in terms of immigration,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

Nasa 24 na Filipino na ang ipina-deport sa Pilipinas mula nang maupo sa puwesto si Trump.

Bukod dito, kakausapin din ni Pangulong Marcos si Trump kaugnay sa freeze order nito sa mga foreign aid.

“There’s much that we need to discuss between the US and the Philippines in terms of trade and in terms of defense and security and now the new policy on immigration,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

“These are the growing pains of a new administration but I’m sure with time these policies will crystallize and will become clearer, by which time I will have a chance to visit with President Trump and we can discuss it with a better understanding of what the policies are,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

Wala pa namang eksaktong petsa ang pakikipagpulong ni Pangulong Marcos kay Trump.
