Donasyong Pfizer vaccine ng US dumating na sa bansa
DUMATING na sa bansa ang mga Pfizer vaccine na donasyon ng Estados Unidos Lunes ng gabi.
Ayon sa National Task Force Against COVID-19, ito ang huling batch ng mga bakuna na tatanggapin ng bansa sa ilalim ng Duterte administration.
Sinabi ni NTF Against COVID-19 Chief Implementer at vaccine czar Secretary Carlito G. Galvez, Jr. na ang 299,520 dose ng Pfizer vaccine ay gagamitin sa mga edad 12 pataas.
“This represents the U.S and other allies [desire] to continue to help us. And I thank the U.S. for committing themselves and not forgetting us during this pandemic from the first time that we met. Now, this will be our last donation to be received during the Duterte administration and it only shows the support of the US and other allies to the next government,” sabi ni Galvez.
Ayon kay Galvez nasa 17 milyong doses ng COVID-19 vaccine mula sa COVAX facility ang inaasahan pang darating sa mga susunod na buwan kabilang dito ang ipapalit sa mga nag-expire na bakuna.
Umabot na sa kabuuang 245.3 milyong dose ng COVDI-19 vaccine ang dumating na sa bansa at 74.2 milyon ang donasyon ng COVAX kung saan 35.7 milyon naman ang donasyon ng Estados Unidos.
