Half Court 3×3 mag-simula na sa Okada

MAGSISIMULA na ang pinaka-aabangang Half Court Group 3×3 basketball tournament sa Okada Manila Crystal Pavilion ngayong Sept. 7-8.

Ang kumpetisyon ay lalahukan ng 32 teams – 16 teams sa men’s at 16 sa women’s division.

Inihayag ni Coach Mau Belen na ang champion sa men’s division ay makakakuha ng spot sa FIBA 3×3 Lite Quest, gayundin sa 3×3 Pocheon Challenger sa South Korea, na magsisilbing qualifying tournament para sa FIBA 3×3 World Tour Shenzhen Masters.

“Hopefully, with event like this and with partners, like Okada (Manila), Sip, Jeep and Chooks, we can show the people that we mean serious business. It’s something that we want to show,” pagdidiin ni Belen sa event launch ng Half Court Group sa Glass Ballroom ng Okada Manila.

“I want to thank all of you guys for coming here. Hopefully I can see all of you also in one of our tournament weeks. Our playdates for three weeks are Sept 7-8, 14-15 and 21-22,” dagdag pa ni Belen.

Ilan sa mga players to watch sina Louie Vigil at TH Tumalip sa men’s division; at Gilas Pilipinas, Uratex-backed Dream at Tibay sa women’s division.
